Dr. Muhammad Zubair

HoD Research CESD

Dr. Muhammad Zubair is the Head of Research at the College of Economics and Social
Development (CESD) and Assistant Professor of Economics at the Institute of Business
Management (IoBM). He earned his Ph.D. in Economics, specializing in Applied Health
Economics. His research interests encompass socioeconomic inequalities in health,
decentralization, the environment, economic policy, and the social sector.

Dr. Sayed Fayaz Ahmad

Dr. Sayed Fayaz Ahmad holds a Ph.D. in Engineering Management from Gomal University, Pakistan, and an MS in Engineering Management from the University of Engineering and Technology, Peshawar, Pakistan. He is also a Certified Project Director from GAQM, UK, and a Certified Professional in Engineering Management from the American Society for Engineering Management, USA. He has completed a Postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Currently serving as an Associate Professor and Head of Research at the College of Engineering Sciences, Institute of Business Management, Pakistan, Dr. Ahmad has extensive expertise in project management and academic research. He has published more than 100 research papers in peer-reviewed national and international journals, with a total impact factor of about 300 and a citation score of 450. His research focuses on Technology Management, Project Management, and Supply Chain Management, with a particular interest in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Dr. Sarah Wali Qazi

Dr. Sarah Wali Qazi is Acting Associate Dean for Graduate and Postgraduate Programs at IoBM, where she also leads Graduate Business Research and the CBM Center for Research and Training. Her research interests include microfinance, qualitative research in business management, specifically phenomenology, and women-centric development models.

Dr. Sana Alam

HoD Research CCSIS

Dr. Sana Alam is an accomplished Assistant Professor at the Institute of Business Management (IoBM) with a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Information Technology from NED University of Engineering and Technology, where she also earned her BE and M.Engg degrees. A dedicated university instructor for over a decade, she is a prolific researcher with multiple W-category publications in high-impact journals. Her expertise spans Software Engineering, Blockchain Technology, the Internet of Things, and Cyber Security (Trust and Reputation Management). Demonstrating her leadership and strategic vision, Dr. Sana Alam currently holds key administrative positions. She is the Head of Research for CCSIS, the OBE Coordinator for CCSIS, the NCEAC Lead, and Focal Person for CCSIS in the IoBM Strategy Planning Committee. Her multifaceted contributions significantly shape both academic excellence and institutional advancement.

Durriya Qamar

Assistant Research Officer

Ms Durriya Qamar is a Financial Data Analyst specializing in Financial Mathematics and
advanced data modeling. With hands-on experience in treasury and portfolio management, she
leverages Python, SQL, and Power BI to transform complex datasets into strategic financial
insights. Her expertise also encompasses her ability to consistently outperform market benchmarks
through rigorous analysis and predictive simulations, making her a key asset in data-driven
decision-making. Truly enjoy working in my current position as assistant Research Officer at
IoBM.
